🥒 There are not many options for plant emojis... I think this was a fun build. But for the back patio bathroom, that would have been the perfect place for the Island Living shower and one of the various pee bushes. But that's what I would have done. Were you aware that the Snoey Escape Komorebi Shrubbery isn't easily accessible? It only shows up if you select the lot as a Wedding Venue... under Wedding Venue items. And it's the only pee bush with an alternate swatch. I might have to try this challenge out, I love a good challenge.

You should do every room is a different sims death. (fire, drowning, rocket, cowplant, etc)

okay i've been thinking about the backstory... John and Lucy purchased this house sight unseen for their family of 4, they immediatly began renovations, they tore down the wall to the bathroom near the entry way to switch rooms with the kitchen to make more of an open concept for their kitchen and dining needs. however the contracter fell through so they are stuck in the middle of that bathroom reno. Their teen son likes to fall asleep watching tv so they let him use the murphy bed until the new living room furniture arrives. Their youngest child didn't want to be on the opposite side of the house from everyone because they get scared of the monster under the bed so until the family gets a new contractor to tear down more walls they hung up curtains to give her a "room". The family is also planning to tear out the toilet in the laundry room that leads outside since they have 2 kids they go through a lot of laundry

We desperately need a get to work refresh that expands Sixxam into an actual world. It basically didn’t come with a world originally, so why not expand the space one? scientist is already the only good career…

If you do this again, each room is a different pack (plus base game) and a different room. So you have to do a snowy escape outside bathroom, or a decor to the max hallway dining room

The outdoor shower from island living would have been perfect outside. You also could have gone with snowy escape and gone onsen/hotsprings and shower.

Backstory: the builder is dyslexic or illiterate, and miss read the plans. It's a rental so the owners don't care, and signed off on the build without looking at it. When they saw it, it was too late to change it without costing the landlords money.

this is a house of too free-living lesbians. without having much money, they had to DIY their house because they now have a child. also, the murphy bed is just a guest room and their public livingroom

For the kitchen. My house actually has a window into the family room. The family room used to be a part of the backyard, but the owners before us built the room and kept the window. It kinda looks like the Island Living open windows.

I’m thinking that this is someone who is trying to create “bedrooms” to rent out cause they’re greedy - but because they’re shitty landlords they refuse to give up any of their own privacy so all the rooms with doors are their own rooms and all the open space is for their tenants EDIT: *or* it’s parents who renovated their kids rooms to be fun extra rooms after they went away to college, but the kids obviously cannot afford a place of their own or even get a job in the current job market/housing crisis, so they had to move back in with their parents - who quickly had to add in a shitty bedroom/bathroom cause they refused to get rid of their big ass bathroom or bar room

I actually love seeing you use an open floor plan, it just didn't seem to work for this challenge lol

🍀 I think this was a young couple who was in the middle of converting a run down house into the home of their dreams; they’d already installed the bar they wanted and changed one of the old bedrooms into a luxury bath and were in the process of removing the old bathroom when tragedy struck. One of their siblings died unexpectedly and they suddenly had to take custody of their nieces; they moved the office stuff into the master bedroom to create space for one of the girls, then gave up their dream walk in closet to be the new living room so the older girl could have a space to stay that didn’t require her walking through their bedroom. It’s awkward and messy, but they’re doing their best to make it work.

This was so fun hahaha I loved it!

If it makes you feel any better about the laundry room bathroom situation my boyfriend’s sister’s house that her husband whose a construction worker built is the same way. The guest bathroom also is a laundry room that has a door to the outside and the door has a window. Also the two bedroom bathrooms have no doors or curtains so privacy apparently doesn’t exist…

i think aliens pretending to be humans live here. maybe all their knowledge about humans comes from tv sitcoms, cause they tend to have disjointed and nonsensical layouts due to their sets
